The preliminary rounds of the 53rd Sir John Tarbat Junior Nutritionist Championship Games organized by the Sri Lankan School Nutritionist Association under the auspices of Ritchbury Company, centered on the Eastern Province and Polonnaruwa District, took place on Saturday, 03 August, 2024 at Weber Stadium, Batticaloa.

In this competition, the students of Kalmunai Mahmood Women's College (National School) won gold, silver and bronze medals and brought pride to the school and achieved a record in the national level.
The level has also been selected.
S.F. Asrifa clocked 15.02 seconds in Under-13 Hurdles 75 M
He received the award and took home the gold medal.
N.F.R. Jhelan bagged a silver medal in the under-14 girls' 80m hurdles event. 4 x 100m relay for girls of the same age (14) N.F.R. Zeelan, K.F. Al Nadia, M.J.F. Azrin, S.F. Saha has also brought pride to the school by getting a bronze medal.
Principal of the college A.P. congratulated the students, physical education teachers, instructors and parents of the students who made the college proud through this success. Nazmia Sanoos (SLEAS), Vice Principals, Assistant Principals, Area Heads, Teachers, Development Officers, School Development Executive Committee members, Alumni Association members and non-academic staff are all sincere.
